About Donna & Perfectly Matched Dating:I am divorced with two grown daughters and three grandsons. My Dad is 86 years young and very much a part of my life. When I was 40 and ending a 22 year marriage I knew I was going to be supporting myself for the first time in my life. I sat down with a piece of paper and came up with just three words; Passionate, Fun and Money. Something I could be passionate about, have fun doing and make a good income. Not in a million years did I think I would be a Matchmaker. Although, when I went to my 25th high school reunion I received an award for the person who chose the most obvious career path. Throughout high school and my marriage I would constantly meet people that I thought would be good matches for one another and introduce them. I answered an ad in the paper in 1987 and started my journey into the dating business.
On October 6, 1991 I opened Perfectly Matched and today I have over 650 clients who are married, probably that many couples in long term relationships that do not chose to marry and people who are dating, having fun and making friends while we work on finding their special someone. I feel so blessed to have this job. I appreciate and respect the opportunity to help my clients with such an important part of their lives. I have gained a unique perspective on dating and relationships. I have everyone’s best interest at heart and I do as much counseling as matchmaking. I believe there is someone for everyone and it only takes one right one. Someday I am going to write a book . In the meantime, I still love what I do, I am definitely having fun and I am still in business!.
