My first appointment today is a lady, mid 20’s, ABS (always been single), educated, her long term goal is marriage and children.
She said “I am exhausted from trying online dating. I was spending hours going through all the men who responded to my profile and then I spent hours meeting men who were not even close to good matches for me.”
She is attractive and it does not surprise me that she received a ton of responses. Online dating is really not much different from the bar scene because most people respond to the picture and disregard everything else.

She enjoys hiking with her dog, snowboarding, volunteering for several nonprofit organizations, spending time with her family and friends, and reading.
She said “I am active but I am not a jock. I wouldn’t be compatible with a guy who makes the gym his second home.”

She feels she is compatible with men who are older, 30 to 40, is her age preference.
She said “The men I have met in my age range seem immature and scattered. I want someone who has a stable job, makes a decent income and knows how to manage his money. I also only want to meet men who know they want to be married and have children. I spent two years dating a man who said from the very beginning he wanted kids and two years later he told me he had decided he didn’t want kids.”
I said “When people come in here and tell me they want kids, you can be sure they do and I will only match you with men who have the same long term goal.”

She said “I like the idea of working with a Matchmaker, like Patty the Millionaire Matchmaker.”
I said “I am much more diplomatic and kinder than she is and I don’t rant and rave, or swear at my clients. What she does is reality TV. What I do is real matchmaking.”
She said “Still, I am going to tell everyone I am working with a Matchmaker.”

I gave her a half dozen business cards and told her I would add a match to her program for any referral she sends to me who becomes a client.

She said “Cool.” Cool, indeed.

Memorial weekend is just a couple of days away and things are quieting down already. However, the week after Memorial Day weekend is when I start to get really busy for the summer.
I want to get my summer season off to a great start by offering 20% off all my regular programs until June 1, 2013.
Call 260-1000 to book your no obligation one hour interview and let’s see how many matches I have for you!

Happy Memorial Day!
