Donna's Daily Diary - January 15, 2010

My first appointment today is a lady, early 40’s, divorced, one child whom is off to college next year. She is recently divorced after a long term marriage so right now she is more interested in dating and meeting some quality men but her long term goal with the right person would be marriage. She has a Masters degree and a fabulous job that she loves. She is in the consulting business and, has been with the same company for almost 15 years. She has traveled the world and continuing to travel is a passion she wants to share with someone special. She enjoys hiking, downhill skiing, motorcycles, concerts, theater, good food and good wine. She has climbed one of the world’s highest mountains and she said she is “addicted to hot springs.” I asked her if she had an income requirement or preference as for as the man is concerned. She is very financially secure but she said “It would be fine if he was a teacher as long as he has a passion for what he is doing. I would be proud to be with a man who has a passion for whatever he does, that is more important than how much money he makes.” She attends many social functions in the course of her job and it would be nice if a man is comfortable participating in some of those events. She said “I out source so many important parts of my life to other professionals who are more qualified than me and I thought, why not do the same thing with this very important part of my life.” In addition to being very smart and successful, she is also very sweet (7.5 in temperament), and very attractive and fit. I am excited to have the opportunity to help her start dating again and meet some quality men. I had a match set up for her two hours after she left my office.

My second appointment is an equally accomplished and successful man. He is a doctor in his mid 50’s, divorced, children in their teens, and his long term goal with the right person is a serious, long term relationship which could or could not include marriage. He is nonconforming (a “2.5” on a scale of “0” to “10”), very easy going (“8” in temperament) and very affectionate (also an “8”). He is quite tall and prefers a lady who is preferably 5’6 or taller. He works out, snowboards, mountain bikes, plays tennis, golf, likes to travel, loves live music, attends lots of concerts, enjoys theater and plays. He said “My scores are probably more compatible with someone who lives in Boulder. Do you have ladies in Colorado Springs whom are nonconforming and no into organized religion?” I shared information with him on seven different ladies and he could clearly see by comparing their scores that they are also nonconforming and consider themselves spiritual, as opposed to organized religion. He said he is probably going to come back next week and sign up but he met a lady this week for the first time and it went well. He is going out with her again this weekend and get back to me. I think he will be back. He responded enthusiastically to the ladies I spoke to him about but, also because he has already seen what he thinks could be “red flags” with this lady he just met. He was encouraged to call me by a friend of his who has been with a lady I matched him with almost three years ago and they are doing great. I love referral business, it keeps me in business.

To be continued tomorrow…………….
