Donna's Daily Diary - February 24, 2010

I added 30 Available Singles to my website this weekend. There are now 50 women and 50 men. Please visit Available Singles on my website and check it out. Also, the Available Singles are just a portion of my clients. If you do not see anyone who appears to be a good match for you, don’t be discouraged. The bottom line is once I meet with someone, I know how many matches I have for them.

My first appointment today is a lady, early 60’s, recently divorced and ready to start dating and having some fun. I really enjoy working with people who are getting back out there after a long term relationship or marriage has ended. It does not seem to matter if they are in their 40’s, 50’s, 60’s or older, whether they are men or women, it is not easy to start dating again. This lady is petite, educated, retired, active, fit, a Bronco fan, and she loves to cook and try new recipes. She would like to find a man who is outgoing, has a good sense of humor, likes to have fun and is a good communicator. I was sharing information with her on a possible match and he said he loves to dance. She said “I love to dance too, but I haven’t done it for 20 years.” She was not happy in her marriage for many years and I am very glad for her that she has a chance to start over. Life is too short to stay in an unhappy relationship or marriage, no matter what your age.

The man I mentioned yesterday decided not to join Perfectly Matched again. He said “My gut feeling is that this won’t work for me and I have other things I need to spend my money on.” I think he was disappointed when I told him his height and size, his requirement to meet ladies that have no pets, no kids at home and his income level would be limiting factors in the matching process. He said he had been trying the online services for many years and he had been turned down many times by ladies who said “You have always been single (then he went “Annnnttttt”, like a buzzer) you have no kids annnntttt..you have no pets, not even a goldfish, annnntttt. You are 5’6 annntttt. You make XXXXXX a year as far as income annntttt. I think he is tired of being annntttt’d and maybe community and volunteer service is better than being annnnttttt’d.

To be continued tomorrow……………………………
