Donna's Daily Diary - November 6, 2009

The First Thursday at the Ritz was too much fun! There were approximately 80 people mixing and mingling and, enjoying the food and friendship. The Hors D’ oeuvres were great and the Ritz is very enthusiastic about making the next First Thursday, December 3rd, even better. My first appointment today is a lady, late 40’s, divorced for over 14 years with two children. Her long term goal is marriage. I really like this lady. She was very open and honest and her situation is a little unique in today’s society. Her parents live with her and her children. I asked “Does this work for you and your parents and your children?” She said “It works for all of us. I love my parents, my parents love me. My parents love my children and, my children love them. They help me, I help them and our home is full of peace and harmony. I have two fabulous, well adjusted children.” Her heritage is such that three generations living together is the norm, especially when it works so well for all involved. She would love to find that one special man to complete the picture. That does not mean the parents would necessarily be a part of the living environment if marriage should occur but, they will always be a part of the picture and the special man would, of course, be supportive of that idea. Think “Greek Wedding” and happily ever after.

My second interview is a man who is recently divorced. He is 42, one child, his long term goal is marriage and children. It always touches my heart when I interview someone who has the heartfelt desire to be a parent with a partner who also really wants to be a parent. He said something I have hear so many times “I thought I was marrying the person I would be with for the rest of my life. I don’t want to make another mistake but I still want to be a family and live happily ever after. I know two things; I definitely want more children and I never want to be divorced again.” He was very impressed with my profile test and could not believe how much I knew about him because of six numbers (see profile test on my website). I have some great matches for him and I will only match him with ladies who definitely want children.
