Donna's Daily Diary - December 4, 2009

There were about 80 people at the third First Thursday at the Ritz in spite of the weather. The weather was fine downtown but some folks had a hard time coming in from the north and others have called today to say they did not make it because of the weather. Hopefully the weather will cooperate on January 7th for the next First Thursday of the New Year.

My first appointment today is a lady, late 30’s, divorced, no children and her long term goal is marriage. She is not interested in having children but she is totally fine meeting someone who has children. She said she loves kids and kids love her. She is a teacher, my largest group of professional women are teachers. She is very physically active and enjoys the great outdoors, camping, hiking, skiing and hunting. She grew up in Colorado with three brothers and her father and she still goes hunting with them. They do not kill anything that they can’t eat. He mother died when she was 13 years old and she is the youngest of all her siblings. They are all protective of her and the right man for her would have to tolerate and hopefully, enjoy her family. She feels they are easy to enjoy and a lot of fun. She said they are all married and between them she has seven nieces and nephews. She loves to travel and has been all over the world, including third world countries. She wants to go to Australia and New Zealand with someone special. She doesn’t like staying in the fancy places. She enjoys mingling with the locals and usually finds a place where that is most likely to happen. Her most motivating score is her affection score, on a scale of “0” to “10” she is a “9.” She wants mutual admiration and chemistry. She said “When I am in love with someone, I want to spend a lot of time with him.” I said “The right man for you will think that is a great idea.”

My second appointment is going to wait until after the first of the year to join. Not because he doesn’t want to buy a Christmas gift for someone like the guy the other day but, because I told him I was taking a trip over the holidays. He said “I will wait until you are back just in case something happens to you.” I said “What? Like I don’t make it back?” Tis the season!
