Donna's Daily Diary - December 12, 2009
Today I matched, matched , matched. It seemed like a Friday. I love my clients. They are so clever. A man I have worked with for over a year left me a voice message and “challenged” me to find his “perfect match” for Christmas. I love a challenge. Another client, a lady who just came “off hold” three days ago, whom I had not heard from for two and a half years, called to say she “felt like she was waiting for Santa Claus to bring her present.” I matched her today. And, yet another client who suggested I should go out with him while I work on setting up a match with another lady. THAT isn’t going to happen but, you can’t blame a guy for trying. I matched him today, too.
I’m telling you, people go nuts during the holidays. And to add to the madness, there are two full moons in December and the next one is December 31st…NEW YEAR’S EVE!
I had an email from a new client who has started reading my blog and he said “What about the lady from 11-25?” I emailed him back and said “That’s the lady I matched you with today.” I also matched a man who just came off hold and realized today is his birthday. I said “If it works, it will be easy to remember when you first heard her name.”
When my clients get married I like to keep in touch and I always tell them December is a good month to touch base because things will slow down until January, which is always my busiest month in business. I received a Christmas card yesterday from a couple I matched ten years ago. They send a card every year and they now have four children. Another couple who has been married for 13 years and also send a Christmas card every year now have nine grandchildren between them. I send them a Christmas card every year and thank them for thinking of me.
Beginning Monday and until December 31st I am going to start featuring a lady and a man, current clients, whom I would love to find a match for. If you think you are a good match for this person email me and if you are a good match, I will make a complimentary introduction.
This the season to be jolly.
To be continued Monday………………………………
