Donna's Daily Diary - December 27, 2009
For only four more days it will be 2009. 2010 just sounds like I could not possibly have lived this long. I shared that thought with my 86 year young Dad and he said “How the hell do you think it makes ME feel!”
I had an appointment today that was really fun and uplifting. This lady is 56, divorced, one grown child, highly educated, physically fit and very active and very attractive (think Morgan Fairchild). She has a great sense of humor and she is financially stable. She said “I want someone just like me!” I said “What a good idea, that’s what I recommend.” It was a great interview and she is going to be delightful to work with. She said “I don’t care how long it takes. What matters is that I find the right person.” In the meantime, she is living a life that is only missing someone special to share it. It made me think of all the fabulous ladies in their 50’s I work with and I decided to feature “Ladies in their Fabulous 50’s.” I generally hesitate to feature too many ladies in their 50’s and 60’s because who wants to hear about them? Listen up, these ladies have so much to offer to the right man. They are good looking, fit, active, financially secure and the single most prevailing quality they all possess is “Girls just want to have fun…..with the RIGHT man.” Fun is a great thing to have, especially when you have the time, the money and, the desire.
FFF…First fabulous fifties #1…..mid 50’s, 5’7, educated, very fit and trim. A portion of her Ideal Relationship “Communication on what each other’s “roles” in the relationship would be is key to making sure no one feels burdened or taken for granted. I want to meet someone that I feel I cannot live without and that they feel the same way about me. Being a friend first is imperative….love grows from there.”
FFF#2 mid 50’s, 5’10, fit, and healthy. A portion of her Ideal Relationship “I would love to share a home together and do not necessarily require a marriage certificate. I would love to be a giver and have someone who enjoys giving back to me…Ah’ yes in a perfect world!?”
FFF#3 early 50’s, 5’2, educated, petite, cute, fit. “He would be a gentleman who is confident, funny and strong and would know how to treat a lady. I want to share the rest of my life with somebody who will be my friend, lover and companion. Ideally, an unconditional love.”
FFF#4 early 50’s, highly educated, very fit and trim, 5’3. “ The ideal relationship would be based on two individuals who totally respect each other for who they are and encourage each other in all aspects of their lives. I believe that tomorrow is promised to no one, and no amount of money will be taken with me when I leave this earth.”
FFF#5 early 50’s, highly educated, very fit and trim. “I don’t mind whether he remembers my birthday, or Valentine’s day, or if he stays late at work – but, I hope I am the one he is just dying to tell when big things happen in his life. In other words, I want to be his best friend.”
FFF#6 early 50’s, very fit and active, financially stable, blonde and beautiful. “At the spur of the moment, we might throw our camping gear into the SUV and head out to explore the canyons of Utah. We might take our bikes to Moab or other trails in the Southwest. We could take our gold clubs to Arizona. We could hop a flight to NYC and enjoy the super energized atmosphere there. Whatever the activity, let’s get out there and enjoy some fun together.”
I’m telling you, “Girls just want to have fun!”…………………………………
